One of the first things I need to do to create my own skincare line is design the packaging.
So today, I visited a showroom to discuss bottles for the three products I’m developing: lotion, serum, and facial oil.
I honestly didn’t realize how many decisions go into just one bottle. The shape, the material, the cap, the way the logo is printed, the texture, the feeling when you hold it… every small detail changes the entire experience.
There were so many options and different printing methods to choose from. It’s a completely new world for me.
But that’s also the exciting part.
Its always exiting to go though what it means to create something from zero.
One decision at a time. I can’t wait to see this idea slowly turn into something real.
自分のスキンケアラインを作るために、最初に取り組まなければならないことのひとつが、パッケージデザインです。
今日は、現在開発中の化粧水、美容液、フェイシャルオイルの3つの商品に使うボトルについて相談するため、ショールームへ行ってきました。
正直、ひとつのボトルを決めるだけでも、こんなにたくさんの選択肢があるとは思っていませんでした。
形、素材、キャップ、ロゴの印刷方法、表面の質感、手に持ったときの感覚……。ほんの小さな違いでも、商品の印象や体験そのものが大きく変わります。
ボトルの種類も印刷方法も本当にたくさんあり、私にとってはまったく新しい世界でした。
でも、そこがまた面白いところでもあります。
これまで私は、音楽やイベント、カルチャーを通して、誰かの作品やアイデアを形にする仕事をしてきました。
そして今、初めて自分自身のアイデアを、ゼロから形にしていくということを学んでいます。
ひとつずつ、決断を重ねながら。
このアイデアが少しずつ現実のものになっていくのが、今からとても楽しみです。
