As DJs, our job is to bring other people’s music to life. I genuinely loved doing that, so I never questioned it.

But somewhere along the way, I realized something… I never really gave myself permission to ask what “I” wanted to create.
Maybe part of me didn’t believe there was space for me in an industry where it felt like everyone had already found their place. So instead, I kept pouring my energy into other people’s dreams, solving other people’s problems. I was constantly giving and not helping myself.

みなさんのおかげで、大好きなDJという仕事で生計を立て、皆さんとたくさんの誇れるものを築くことができました。
DJという仕事は、誰かが作った音楽を届け、その魅力を最大限に引き出して音楽業界を盛り上げたり、その場の空間を良くする仕事です。私はその役割が大好きで、これまで一度も疑問に思ったことはありませんでした。
でも、ある時ふと気づいたんです。「私は本当は何を作りたいんだろう？」と、自分自身に問いかけたことがほとんどなかったことに。
もしかしたら、心のどこかで「もうみんなが居場所を見つけているこの音楽業界に、プロデューサーとして自分の入る余地なんてない」と思っていたのかもしれなかったです。
だから私は、自分の夢よりも誰かの夢ばかり応援して、他の誰かの悩みを常に解決してて、誰かのために動き続けてきました。
気づけば、自分自身のことは後回しにしていました。
