I’m honored to announce that I have been appointed as the first official ambassador in Japan for Código 1530, an additive-free premium tequila brand by Pernod Ricard Japan K.K.

Código 1530 was established in 2016 in Amatitán, Jalisco, one of Mexico’s most renowned tequila-producing regions. Inspired by a traditional recipe passed down for generations by local tequila artisans, Código 1530 is crafted with 100% Blue Weber Agave and stays true to an additive-free approach, using no sweeteners, flavorings, coloring, or unnecessary additives.

Unlike many tequilas that are aged in American whiskey barrels, Código 1530 is aged in premium Napa Valley Cabernet French oak wine barrels, creating its unique and delicate flavor profile.

My love for Mexico started through my DJ tours, where I fell deeply in love with the country’s culture, people, music, and cuisine. That passion eventually led me to open my Mexican bar Casa De Sarasa in Shibuya.

この度、ペルノ・リカール・ジャパン株式会社が展開する無添加プレミアムテキーラブランド「Código 1530（コディゴ 1530）」の、日本初となる公式アンバサダーに就任しました。

Código 1530は、メキシコを代表するテキーラの銘醸地のひとつであるハリスコ州アマティタンで、2016年に誕生したプレミアムテキーラブランドです。

地元の蒸留職人たちによって代々受け継がれてきた伝統的なレシピからインスピレーションを受け、100%ブルーウェーバーアガベを使用。甘味料、香料、着色料などの添加物を使用しない、無添加の製法を大切にしています。

また、多くのテキーラで使用されるアメリカンウイスキー樽ではなく、ナパバレー産カベルネワインに使用されたフレンチオーク樽で熟成させることで、Código 1530ならではの繊細で美しい味わいを生み出しています。

私とメキシコとの出会いは、DJとして訪れたツアーがきっかけでした。

そこで出会った人々、音楽、食文化、そしてメキシコという国が持つエネルギーに深く魅了され、気づけばメキシコは私の人生にとって欠かせない存在になっていました。

その想いから、渋谷にメキシカンバル「Casa De Sarasa」をオープンしました。

（実はタコス文化を日本に広めるため「タコス協会」も立ち上げ、代表理事として活動しています！）

今回、Código 1530のアンバサダーとして、日本でテキーラの魅力、そしてその背景にある職人の想いやメキシコ文化を伝えていけることを心から嬉しく思います。
